Anterior rotator cable disruption does not affect outcomes in rotator cuff tear with subscapularis involvement

Tae-Hwan Yoon et al.

Summary: Both anterosuperior rotator cuff tears and rotator cuff tears with subscapularis involvement showed significant improvement in clinical outcomes and structural integrity after arthroscopic repair, with no significant differences between the two groups in terms of postoperative outcomes and re-tear rates. Therefore, it would not be necessary to differentiate treatment protocols between these tear configurations based on the findings of this study.
