A two-stage multi-objective optimal scheduling in the integrated energy system with We-Energy modeling

Ning Zhang et al.

Summary: The paper proposes a two-stage multi-objective optimal scheduling strategy (TMOS) based on the innovative mathematical model of We-Energy (WE) in the integrated energy system (IES). TMOS considers the comprehensive impact of multiple significant operation indicators, leading to improved economic benefit and customer satisfaction. By adjusting the components of the WE to reduce the impact of RE prediction error, real-time power balancing can be achieved to ensure secure operation.

A stochastic decentralized model for the privately interactive operation of a multi-carrier energy system

Mohammad Javad Salehpour et al.

Summary: Multi-carrier energy systems have attracted wide attentions for their flexibility and sustainable characteristics, but uncertainties from different sources can degrade the system's performance. This paper proposes a stochastic decentralized model using a multi-agent framework to consider uncertainties of thermal and electrical loads, implementing a fully-decentralized energy trading model with the gradient projection method. Simulation studies using AnyLogic show that renewable agents directly impact clearing prices, leading to a 7% decrease in total operating cost compared to deterministic models, but with a decline in social welfare due to beneficial behavior in private cooperation.

Stochastic robust optimal operation of community integrated energy system based on integrated demand response

Peng Li et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the optimal operation of community integrated energy system (CIES) using integrated demand response. Different energy loads are analyzed to introduce strategies for complementary substitution and time shifting, while a stochastic robust optimal operation model is established. The proposed method effectively reduces operation costs, promotes energy supply-demand balance, and achieves economical, flexible, and efficient operation of CIES.
