Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a new class of nanoporous materials that have attracted significant research interest. They may provide unprecedented opportunities for producing ultrathin and tuneable molecular sieve membranes for gas separations.
Metal-ogranic frameworks (MOFs), an emerging class of new nanoporous materials, have attracted a tremendous research interest for various applications. In this perspective, I present why and how metal-organic frameworks might offer unprecedented opportunities for ultrathin and tunable molecular sieve membranes for custom gas separations.
