Design Approach of Lifetime Extending Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence Sensitizers for Highly Efficient Fluorescence Devices

Sung Joon Yoon et al.

Summary: In this work, a design approach of three TADF emitters was studied to extend the device lifetime of TADF-sensitized fluorescent devices. The TADF materials showed small singlet-triplet energy splitting and a high reverse intersystem crossing rate, leading to effective sensitization of the fluorescent emission. Employment of tTCNTruX and PCNtTruX sensitizers improved the maximum EQE and device lifetime of TADF-sensitized fluorescent devices.

Orange-red thermally activated delay fluorescence emitters based on asymmetric difluoroboron chelated enaminone: Impact of donor position on luminescent properties

Hua Li et al.

Summary: Asymmetric enaminone difluoroboron complexes exhibit solid emission and electron-accepting properties, with different substituent positions influencing their optical properties. The newly constructed DMAC-BF and BF-DMAC molecules showed promising thermally activated delay fluorescence properties, with DMAC-BF demonstrating higher photoluminescence quantum yield and better OLED performance compared to BF-DMAC.
