Significantly enhanced cocatalyst-free H2 evolution from defect-engineered Brown TiO2

Summary: TiO2 is extensively studied for its photocatalytic properties, but its limitation in absorbing visible light is addressed in this study through the induction of defects to reduce bandgap. The brown TiO2 synthesized showed enhanced visible-light absorption and significantly improved H-2 evolution efficiency under natural sunlight, demonstrating its potential for cost-effective solar H-2 production.

N2 Fixation by Plasma-Activated Processes
