Unidirectional/Bidirectional Electron Transfer at the Au/TiO2 Interface Operando Tracked by SERS Spectra from Au and TiO2

Synthesis of yolk-shell Fe3O4@void@CeO2 nanoparticles and their application in SERS

Summary: The yolk-shell Fe3O4@void@CeO2 exhibited high SERS sensitivity with an enhanced factor of 1.1 x 10(4) using methylene blue as the analyte model. The enhanced light-scattering ability of the YS structure and improved molecule adsorption benefitting from the more exposed surface played vital roles in the high SERS activity. Additionally, the composite could be conveniently recycled through magnetic separation and light irradiation due to the photocatalytic degradation of MB molecules by CeO2.
