Moving-Horizon Estimation for Linear Dynamic Networks With Binary Encoding Schemes

Summary: This article focuses on moving-horizon state estimation problems for a class of discrete-time linear dynamic networks, using binary encoding schemes for robustness during signal transmission. Novel centralized and decentralized moving-horizon estimators are constructed by solving global and local least-square optimization problems, with sufficient conditions obtained through intensive stochastic analysis to guarantee the stochastically ultimate boundedness of the estimation errors.
