Simplified protocol for whole-body Patlak parametric imaging with 18F-FDG PET/CT: Feasibility and error analysis

Summary: Parametric imaging using the Patlak model has been shown to improve lesion detectability and specificity. A simplified scanning protocol that combines population-based and model-based input functions was proposed, with errors in the population-based function only affecting the global scale of the Patlak images. The quantitative impact can be predicted using proposed formulas.
