Recent advances in the development of activatable multifunctional probes for in vivo imaging of caspase-3

Summary: Caspases, a family of proteases, are crucial in inflammation and cell death regulation. The detection and imaging of caspase-3 are significant for evaluating tumor therapeutic effects. Developing smart fluorescent probes and activatable probes can improve the visualization of therapeutic effects and imaging of caspase-3. Multi-functional probes are also designed to enhance caspase-3 imaging.
