It Is Not Just Mortality:A Call From Chile for Comprehensive COVID-19 Policy Responses Among Older People

Pablo Villalobos Dintrans et al.

Summary: The COVID-19 policies targeting older people in Chile aim to address short- and long-term challenges, but may have unintended negative consequences on mental and physical health, as well as financial aspects for this group. A broader perspective that considers financial scarcity, access to health services, mental health issues, and long-term care is needed in policy responses to better protect older people in Chile.
