How the world's collective attention is being paid to a pandemic: COVID-19 related n-gram time series for 24 languages on Twitter

Testing and tracking of social and economic indicators are vital, along with monitoring public discussions on the outbreak. A study analyzing Twitter data across 24 languages found trends in discussions related to the virus, suggesting a shift in global attention over time. The curated time series are available for researchers to enhance analyses during the pandemic and for retrospective investigations.
