Reproductive performance and quality of offsprings of parent stock of layer hens after rearing in open and closed aviary system

Summary: The study found that ISA Brown hens reared in open aviary systems required less feed and water to produce eggs, hatch eggs, and chicks compared to those in closed aviary systems. Additionally, the open aviary system showed better laying performance. Overall, it is possible to rear parent ISA Brown hens in open aviary systems without concerns about future egg production indicators.
