Controllability of the hydrophilic or hydrophobic behavior of the modified polysulfone electrospun nanofiber mats

Razieh Beigmoradi et al.

Summary: The controllability of morphology and wettability behavior of polysulfone electrospun nanofiber mats (ENMs) was investigated by adding surfactants, which affected the diameter size, hydrophilicity or hydrophobicity, surface roughness, and chemical composition of the ENMs. Different types of surfactants had varying effects on the properties of the nanofiber mats, with changes observed in contact angle, surface roughness, and diameter.
