Arsenic adsorbent derived from the ferromanganese slag

Nishant Jain et al.

Summary: Arsenic-contaminated groundwater poses severe health risks, and ferromanganese slag has been utilized to develop an efficient arsenic adsorbent that can simultaneously oxidize As(III) and adsorb total arsenic species. Through a chemical treatment method, the adsorbent exhibits high efficiency and scalability for arsenic decontamination, meeting international drinking water standards.
