Pilot evaluation of the stop, breathe & think mindfulness app for student clients on a college counseling center waitlist

Michael E. Levin et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the feasibility and acceptability of a publicly available mindfulness app for students on a counseling center waitlist. Despite slow recruitment, preliminary findings suggest potential efficacy of the app in reducing depression, anxiety, and overall distress. However, weaker effects were found for mindfulness and values processes.
