Modelling approach for assessing influential factors for EV energy performance

Summary: In the context of increasing electrification of vehicles, this study develops an electric vehicle model to analyze the impact of parameters like battery capacity and energy density on performance. The model shows that increasing battery capacity can significantly increase range, while higher energy density can reduce energy consumption. Maintaining an average speed between 25-40 km/h results in greater range, while aggressive driving has a negative effect. Variations in atmospheric conditions between different regions can lead to significant differences in range for the same vehicle.
