Clinical Characteristics of Refractory Coronavirus Disease 2019 in Wuhan, China

Summary: This study aimed to clarify the characteristics of patients with refractory COVID-19, finding that these patients were older, more likely to be male, and had more underlying comorbid conditions. Patients with refractory disease required more aggressive treatments such as oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation.
