Anatomy of the March 2016 severe ozone smog episode in Mexico-City

O. O. Osibanjo et al.

Summary: The study utilized vertical profiles of virtual potential temperature and moisture to monitor the daytime convective and stable boundary layer heights in Mexico City, and analyzed the impact of air quality and background pollutants during a severe smog episode. The results highlight the strong photochemical processes within the PBL in Mexico City.
