Surface profile topography of ionic polymer metal composite based on fractal theory

Summary: This study investigated the preparation of IPMC with platinum and copper electrodes, analyzing their surface and cross-section morphology. Fractal dimensions were compared and analyzed using different methods, with the simulation of interface profiles based on the WM function model showing effectiveness in representing the characteristics of the IPMC interface profile. The findings suggest the significance of fractal theory in characterizing the IPMC interface profile, providing a new approach to understanding the intrinsic mechanism of IPMC from a fractal perspective.
