Memetic algorithms for training feedforward neural networks: an approach based on gravitational search algorithm

Summary: This study explores the novel memetic approaches based on the Gravitational Search Algorithm and Chaotic Gravitational Search Algorithm for training feedforward neural networks. The results show that these methods outperform other state-of-the-art metaheuristic algorithms in classical benchmark problems, making them suitable alternatives for training FNNs.
