A Novel Vegetation Index for Coffee Ripeness Monitoring Using Aerial Imagery

Low-cost system for radiometric calibration of UAV-based multispectral imagery

Summary: This study evaluated the use of low-cost materials for radiometric calibration of multispectral images. Four materials were tested and their useful life and calibration errors were determined. Results showed that plywood panels painted with matte paint and plywood panels covered with synthetic nappa leather had the lowest errors, while plywood panels covered with Polyvinyl chloride canvas had the highest errors. Additionally, Ethylene Vinyl Acetate panels showed the lowest resistance to use, while plywood panels painted with matte paint showed the greatest durability.
