Summary: The study evaluated SARS-CoV-2 surface and air contamination in a London hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. Viral RNA was detected on surfaces (52.3%) and in air samples (38.7%), but no virus was cultured. The high PCR cycle threshold indicated the virus was not culturable.
