How robust are sleep-mediated memory benefits?

Maren Jasmin Cordi et al.

Summary: Recent research has shown that the impact of sleep on memory is not as significant or long-lasting as previously thought, and is influenced by task-specific conditions and less related to slow-wave sleep (SWS). More replication studies, meta-analytic approaches, and higher standards for reproducible science are needed to advance the field of sleep and memory.
