The article introduces a complex tanh-function method for constructing optical soliton solutions and proposes an ansatze for obtaining soliton solutions of the dimensionless form of the nonlinear Schrodinger's equation.
A complex tanh-function method is presented for constructing optical soliton solutions for quadratic-cubic nonlinear medium. In addition, an ansatze is proposed for obtaining soliton solutions of the dimensionless form of the nonlinear Schrodinger's equation that governs the propagation of solitons through optical fibers.
