Post-traumatic headache, while common, is still not well understood and managed effectively. Recent research has found a link between calcitonin gene-related peptide and the trigeminovascular system, opening up new possibilities for understanding the pathophysiology and improving treatment outcomes for this disorder.
Although common, post-traumatic headache remains poorly understood and poorly treated. New data have implicated calcitonin gene-related peptide and the trigeminovascular system in this disorder, opening up new avenues for research into its pathophysiology and treatment.
