Molecular docking and dynamics study of natural compound for potential inhibition of main protease of SARS-CoV-2

Shafi Mahmud et al.

Summary: This study focused on plant-derived natural compounds as potential drug candidates for inhibiting the main protease of SARS-CoV-2. Through a combination of bioinformatics and molecular dynamics simulation, 14 compounds were identified, with Carinol, Albanin, and Myricetin showing the best binding profiles. These compounds demonstrated strong binding affinity and stability, providing potential for effective COVID-19 treatments in the future.
