A Novel Theranostic Platform: Integration of Magnetomotive and Thermal Ultrasound Imaging With Magnetic Hyperthermia

Summary: This study proposed and examined a theranostic platform integrating magnetomotive and thermal ultrasound imaging for preclinical magnetic hyperthermia. It was found that magnetic nanoparticles can be effectively used as contrast agents and heat generators during MH, while ultrasound thermometry can successfully monitor temperature in real time.
