Analysis of the interaction behavior between Nano-Curcumin and two human serum proteins: combining spectroscopy and molecular stimulation to understand protein-protein interaction

Parisa Mokaberi et al.

Summary: In this study, the effects of Nano-curcumin binding on HSA-HTF interactions were investigated through spectroscopic techniques and MD simulation. The study revealed that Nano-CUR can quench both proteins with a static mechanism and the significance of van-der-Waals forces and hydrogen bonds in the binding process. The induced conformational changes and proximity to specific residues were evaluated, showing higher binding significance in the HTF (Nano-CUR) complex.
