A high proportion of 1 T phase MoS2/CoAl-LDH composite can be synthesized by introducing molybdate into the CoAl-LDH layer and using the confinement effect of hydrotalcite in the hydrothermal vulcanization of molybdate. Compared with the traditional hydrothermal method, the MoS2 obtained has the advantages of large specific surface area and many defects, and the CoAl-LDH plate is fully opened, and the two have obvious synergistic effect in the catalytic process. The material was modified on the surface of glassy carbon electrode and applied to electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution and oxygen evolution in alkaline solution. Linear voltammetry, Tafel curve, AC impedance curve and stability test were carried out. The results show that MoS2/CoAlLDH prepared by two-step method, based on the interlayer confinement effect of hydrotalcite, with sodium molybdate as Mo source, thiourea as S source and hydrazine hydrate as reducing agent, has oxygen evolution activity. For the oxygen evolution reaction, the minimum initial overpotential is 1.38 V, the overpotential is 1.54 V at the current density of 10 mA/cm(2), and the Tafel slope is 62 mV/dec, Compared with the 2H phase MoS2 and CoAl-LDH synthesized by common hydrothermal method, it has a great improvement. And it is greatly improved compared with the CoAl-LDH synthesized by common hydrothermal method.
