Immunobiology of T Cells in Sjogren's Syndrome

Yuan Yao et al.

Summary: Sjogren's syndrome is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by dry mouth, eye dryness, and other systemic disorders. The pathogenesis involves lymphocytic infiltration, ectopic lymphoid tissue formation, and hyperactive B cells producing autoantibodies. The complexity is demonstrated by the involvement of multiple T cell subsets.
