Physical activity and subjective well-being in healthy individuals: a meta-analytic review

Susanne Buecker et al.

Summary: There is a positive relationship between physical activity and subjective well-being, independent of prior fitness level and characteristics of the physical activity intervention. Physical activity is more strongly related to positive affect compared to cognitive well-being and does not correlate with negative affect.
