Vulnerable populations and misinformation: A mixed-methods approach to underserved older adults' online information assessment

Summary: The study found that education and topic involvement were significant factors affecting the credibility assessments of online information made by low-income African-American older adults. For the respondents, assessing content credibility was more challenging compared to source credibility assessments.
