Biocompatible conductive alginate/polyaniline-graphene neural conduits fabricated using a facile solution extrusion technique

Summary: The study demonstrated that the addition of PAG significantly increased the conductivity and Young modulus of NGCs, while producing NGCs with desirable porosity. The good interaction between PAG and the polymeric matrix slightly prevented biodegradation of NGCs and stimulated PC12 cell proliferation. The results suggest the potential use of NGCs in nerve tissue engineering applications.
