Summary: Metabolic tumor volume (MTV) is a promising biomarker for pretreatment risk in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Different segmentation methods have similar prognostic capabilities but yield different optimal cutoffs for risk stratification. Automating the estimation of MTV using SUV4.0 and MV2 is recommended for further evaluation.
