A new sample preparation method combining magnetic effervescent tablet dispersive solid phase extraction with in syringe dispersive liquid-liquid micmextraction has been developed for the extraction of pesticides and their metabolites from egg samples. The method showed relatively low limits of detection, high enrichment factors, and extraction recoveries, with proper precision for the analysis of analytes in forty egg samples.
A new sample preparation method based on a magnetic effervescent tablet dispersive solid phase extraction combined with in syringe dispersive liquid-liquid micmextraction has been developed and applied for the extraction of some pesticides and their related metabolites from egg samples prior to their determination by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. In this procedure, firstly, Fe3O4@multiwall carbon nanotubes are prepared and used in preparation of the effervescent tablet. After that, the prepared tablet is dropped into the sample solution. By doing so, the produced CO2 dispersed the nanoparticles in whole of the solution. After collecting the nanoparticles with an external magnet, the adsorbed analytes are eluted with a water-miscible deep eutectic solvent which is used as a dispersive solvent in the following micmextraction procedure. The effective parameters were optimized and under the optimum conditions, relatively low limits of detection (0.03-0.24 ng g(-1)) and quantification (0.09-0.84 ng g(-1)), high enrichment factors (219-276) and extraction recoveries (73-92 %) were obtained. The method had a proper precision with relative standard deviations less than <= 10.2 %. Finally, the developed method was used for determination of the analytes in forty egg samples.
