This work analyzes the use of digital controllers for the temperature regulation of an aeronautical pneumatic system based on discretized nonlinear control laws. The assessed nonlinear control laws are based on feedback linearization, sliding mode and flatness-based control, with a particular emphasis on the noise. Some filtering strategies are proposed, with special attention on the high-order derivative signals. The issue of choosing the sample rate is addressed for each of the control laws. Tests were carried out using a realistic model with the structure validated with the actual experimental data. Nevertheless, some system parameters have been intentionally modified due to industrial confidentiality.
