In addition to the biological impact of the virus, the Covid-19 pandemic also has consequences such as non-Covid diseases, socio-economic issues, wear and tear on medical infrastructure, and physical and mental deterioration in human resources, which require special attention in global strategies. Civil rights and legal implications must also be considered in decision-making to avoid social discrimination or stigma. This bioethics approach is aimed at decision-makers responsible for public health impacts.
