In order to realize the engineering application of the phononic crystal structure, a phononic crystal plate structure based on particle damping was proposed in this paper. The theoretical analysis and experimental prediction show that the structure has excellent medium and low frequencies damping characteristics, extremely wide-bandgap and low-frequency domain vibration damping characteristics. The matched curves of the data results show that the equivalent damping particle continuum including the equivalent elastic modulus and dynamic Rayleigh damping coefficient ratio, is a nonlinear function of the vibration frequency.
