Cerebellar contribution to emotional body language perception: a TMS study

Chiara Ferrari et al.

Summary: This study found that the cerebellum is involved in processing the emotional content conveyed by body postures and gestures. Stimulation of the cerebellar region affected participants' ability to discriminate negative emotional body postures. These findings have important implications for understanding the role of the cerebellum in emotional processing and clinical treatment.
