A New Model for Failure Mode and Effect Analysis Integrating Linguistic Z-Numbers and Projection Method

Summary: A new FMEA model combining linguistic Z-numbers and an extended projection method is proposed in this article to enhance the inherent characteristics of FMEA. Through a practical risk evaluation case of aircraft landing system, the results show that this model can accurately depict experts' risk evaluation information and obtain more accurate risk prioritization of failure modes.
