The optoelectrical properties of bromide-based perovskite thin films were evaluated to develop an optical wireless power transmission system. CH3NH3PbBr3 (MAPbBr(3)) films were deposited by the anti-solvent method after substrate preheating. The low-temperature exciton emission and discontinuous peak shift from phase transitions in the emission spectra indicate the high optical quality of MAPbBr(3) films on TiO2. The Urbach energy and diffusion length of the MAPbBr(3) thin films on TiO2 were 22.7meV and 1.14 mu m, respectively. The films exhibited good solar cell performance under monochromatic light with an efficiency over 20%.
