Accurate density values are reported for binary mixtures of alkoxyalcohols {1-butoxyethanol+ (benzene or cyclohexane)} and {1-methoxy-2-propanol + (benzene or cyclohexane)} over the complete range of alkoxyalcohols composition at temperatures (283.15, 298.15, 323.15 and 343.15) K. Excess molar volumes, V-m(E) for all binary systems were computed from the experimental density data at all investigated temperatures. In all cases density data increased binary with alkoxyalcohols composition, and decreased as temperature increases. The excess molar volumes for all investigated systems were positive at all temperatures. The cyclohexane containing systems shows a nearly symmetric behavior of excess molar volume, whereas the benzene containing systems shows an asymmetric behaviour of the excess molar 2-butoxyethanol and 1-methoxy-2-propanol, respectively. The {1-butoxyethanol + (benzene or cyclohexane)} exhibit a maximum at benzene-rich region and cyclohexane-rich region of the solution respectively. Whereas, {1-methoxy-2-propanol + (benzene or cyclohexane)} systems exhibit a maximum at the equimolar region for the {1-methoxy-2-propanol+ cyclohexane} system and at the benzene-rich region for {1-methoxy-2-propanol+ benzene}. The results are discussed with regards to the inter-intra molecular interactions amongst the components of the mixtures carried at different composition and temperature.
