We report our effort in the development of a new synthetic method for fluoro-functionalized graphene oxide, which was prepared via the Hunsdiecker reaction, and the treatment of carboxylated graphene oxide with selectfluor at 90 degrees C for 10 h under an atmosphere of nitrogen, using silver nitrate as a catalyst.
