PROBLEMS OF COGNITIVE STRATEGIES AND EMOTIONAL REGULATION OF TEACHERS IN MODERN EDUCATION

Rashid Jabbarov et al.

Summary: This article examines the manifestations of cognitive strategies and emotional regulation among teachers. The study involves 64 teachers with different academic backgrounds and teaching at different faculties. The findings suggest that age plays a role in shaping cognitive strategies and emotional self-regulation of teachers. Cognitive strategies and expressive suppression of emotions are associated with different qualities of teachers. Adequate self-regulation of emotion is more significantly related to cognitive strategy than expressive suppression. The study also reveals correlations between cognitive reappraisal and personality traits, as well as emotional intelligence and resilience among teachers.

Assessment of ecological vulnerability of resource-based cities based on entropy-set pair analysis

Gang He et al.

Summary: By establishing a comprehensive evaluation model based on entropy-set pair analysis, it is possible to effectively assess and monitor the ecological vulnerability of resource-based cities. The study results indicate that the evaluation indexes of resource, economy, society, and ecological environment fluctuated but showed gradual improvement from 2010 to 2016, leading to a change in the ecological vulnerability level of the case city from IV to II with fluctuations.
