Impact of Cattaneo-Christov model on Darcy-Forchheimer flow of ethylene glycol base fluid over a moving needle

The present investigation intentions to deliberate the flow of CNTs nanoliquid with SWCNT and MWCNT nanoparticles and ethylene glycol base fluid in a Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium over a horizontally moving thin needle. The newly presented heat transfer scrutiny is characterized by Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model which concedes the role of thermal stratification is the additional aspect towards the novelty of the explored problem. The numerical solution is proven via bvp4c aid in MATLAB for the system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) with high nonlinearity. The impacts of assorted parameters comprising nanoparticles volume fraction (0.00 <= phi <= 0.28), thickness of the needle (0.01 <= alpha <= 0.20), porosity parameter (0.01 <= lambda <= 0.07), local Forchheimer number (0.02 <= F-r <= 0.08), radiation parameter (7.0 <= R-d <= 16.0), thermal relaxation parameter (0.2 <= gamma <= 1.8) and thermal stratification parameter (0.1 <= S-t <= 0.3) on velocity distribution, temperature profile and skin friction coefficient are deliberated via graphical interpretations and numerically established tabulated values. It is inspected that the velocity distribution reduces for incrementing values of the porosity parameter and local Forchheimer number. Further, the temperature profile is depressed by the increasing values of thermal relaxation and stratification parameters. An attractive coincidence is acquired when our achieved numerical calculations are compared with an already existed values in limiting case; hence dependable results are being deliberated.
