Animal-borne diseases are often caused by zoonotic viruses that are hidden in their tissues or blood. Currently, for their diagnosis, the time-consuming sample pretreatment is inevitable which limit its field applicability and promotion. Herein, taking the recent popular African swine fever virus (ASFV) as an example, we proposed a new platform for their directly visualized analysis in the unprocessed blood sample by introducing in CRISPR tool coupled with loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). Besides, considering the instability of the CRISPR enzyme, in order to extend its shelf life, we also carried out the dehydration operation to make it free from the requirements of the low-temperature storage environment. This sample to result platform is capable of on-site detection and analysis which may also provide new ideas for diseases diagnosis in complex crude samples.
