The conveyor transport inevitably generates a large amount of dust during the coal mining process, which severely threatens the heath of miners and causes waste of resources. Therefore, a central topic of the coal mine occupational safety research concerns the control of dust associated with conveyor transport. This process prepares an environmentally-friendly wetting cementing agent suitable for controlling dust generated by conveyor transport. Subsequently, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and scanning electron microscopy are employed to analyze the microscopic reaction and structure of the product; besides, single factor tests are carried out to determine the optimal synthesis condition based on choosing the anti-bending strength of the hardened film derived from the product as the performance indicator; by thoroughly studying the characteristics of the prepared product, the present research concludes that the newly developed cementing agent can deliver decent dust suppression effect.
