Physical properties like density, viscosity, refractive index and conductivity of switchable hydrophilicity solvent (SHS) systems (triethylamine (TEA), water, and carbon dioxide) as a function of concentration at different temperatures ranging from 283.15 K to 308.15 K have been determined. These data have been used to calculate apparent molar volume, limiting apparent molar expansibility of solute and the relative viscosity of the studied solutions. The viscosity coefficients B have been determined from the Jones-Dole equation. The limiting apparent molar volumes and experimental slopes (A(v)) derived from the Masson equations have been interpreted in terms of solute-solute and solute-solvent interactions. From the volumetric and viscometric data, the structural effect of TEAH-bicarbonate salt in aqueous solvent has been discussed. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd.
