Smart-city medium access for smart mobility applications in Internet of Things

Summary: In this paper, a flexible vehicular cloud and mobile IoT communication framework is proposed to address the wireless medium access problem in smart cities under rapid mobility conditions. The framework utilizes LTE technology and enhances the medium access protocol to improve the quality of service, minimize communication delay and error rates.
