Synthesis and Application of Heterocyclic Germatranes via Rhodium-Catalyzed Directed C-H Activation/Annulation with Alkynyl Germatranes and Palladium-Catalyzed Cross-Coupling

Rhodium-catalyzed C-H activation and annulation with alkynyl germatranes for the synthesis of heterocyclic germatranes is described. Various heterocyclic germatranes were constructed by this protocol and applied in multiple derivatizations such as palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions.
